Our operations are overseen by a Board of Directors appointed by the Government, ensuring strategic leadership and accountability. Since 1996, Nauru Airlines has operated under the Australian Civil Aviation Regulations with an Australian Air Operator’s Certificate, ensuring compliance with some of the world’s highest aviation safety standards.

Our pilots and engineers are trained to Australian aviation standards, and our aircraft maintenance is conducted by our highly skilled team at our Brisbane Hangar. This commitment to excellence and safety allows us to uphold world-class operational standards.

In August 2024, Nauru Airlines achieved IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) accreditation, a globally recognized benchmark for airline operational safety and compliance, further reinforcing our dedication to safe, reliable, and quality air travel.

In August 2014, we proudly rebranded as Nauru Airlines, a name that reflects both Nauru’s rich aviation heritage and our commitment to serving the people of Nauru. Today, our fleet of Boeing 737-300, 737-700, and 737-800 aircraft offers flexible capacity options ranging from 116 to 178 passenger seats. With an unwavering focus on safety, service excellence, and innovation, IOSA accredited and full IATA member, we continue to bridge distances, strengthen regional ties, and enhance the travel experience for our valued passengers.
